嘘 199B - Special Topics in 历史 (2 credits)
Prerequisites: ENGL 101. Guided readings 和 discussion in history. Topics 和 material will vary by instructor each semester. Specific reading lists, activities 和 writing assignments to be determined by the instructor. 这 course is intended to go into detail 和 research beyond the material covered in the United States or Western Civilization survey courses.

| 笔记 | Topic: Civil Rights Movement. Trip 日期: April 18-21, 2024. Add’l Fee of $695 applies which helps cover museum entry cost, hotels 和 transportation. The Civil Rights Pilgrimage allows students an opportunity to "journey back in time" to cities of the great civil rights marches 和 protests. Students will analyze crime scenes, visit historic civil rights l和marks 和 introduce to segregation laws 和 the social political history of the time. Although this is an integrated class team taught, students will have the option to enroll as a CRJU 167B credit or 嘘 199B credit. 类 are taught on the bus 和 at some historic l和mark locations. The Pilgrimage will travel to Little Rock, 阿肯色州, Montgomery 和 Selma, Alabama 和 Memphis, Tennessee this year. | |||
